Joyful Transitions is a trans, nonbinary, and disabled-run nonprofit founded in May 2021. We provide free gender transition materials for low-income and houseless trans and nonbinary individuals of all ages in Oregon. In one year, we helped over 200 folks in the PNW access free materials!

HOW IT WORKS
OUR FOUNDERS
We provide many materials and necessities for trans folks either just starting their transition, or falling on hard times.
Our inventory includes GC2B Binders, Packers, packing pouches, Stand to Pee devices, and tucking materials.
We also have a select few educational resources for new parents of trans children, and are willing to do a consult with parents and their children as well to figure out the first steps for social life in transition!

I am a white, autistic nonbinary transgender and bisexual person with an eccentric personality and always trying to be in touch with my inner child.
I started Joyful Transitions because I believe that the narrative around being transgender and transitioning should be one of Joy.
As the founder and Outreach Director of Joyful Transitions, I hope to grow our available free inventory and connect with our larger Oregon Transgender community.

I am a white, cisgender, and pansexual man, who is also on the spectrum of neurodiversity. I am also blind and love helping other disabled folks like me. As the secretary of Joyful Transitions, I strive to support my partner, trans people, and their organization by helping through design, communication, and connecting with the community as an ally.
